OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Enzyco dishwasher salt contains sodium chloride (NaCl) at a concentration of over 99%. Hard water, rich in calcium and magnesium, creates limescale and deposits on dishes and in the dishwasher. When hard water passes through a filter with resin beads coated with sodium ions (Na+), an ion exchange process occurs: one calcium (Ca2+) or magnesium (Mg2+) ion is replaced by two sodium (Na+) ions, softening the water. This helps remove limescale and deposits, prevents limescale buildup, and eliminates odors after washing.
